Edgar Allan Poe was an American writer, poet, critic and editor best known for evocative shorts stories and poems that captured the imagination and interest of readers around the world. He was born in Boston on January, 19,1809.

He's famous for his tales and poems of horror and history including "The Tell-Talle Heart" and "The Raven"

Yes. with her cousin Virginia when he was 13 and she was 24.
- How did he die?
His death was remained mysterious, the circumstances lending up to it are uncertain and the cause of death is diputed. On October 3, he was found in Baltimore, Maryland " in great distress and.. in need of immediate assistence", according to the man who found him. He was taken to the Washington College Hospital, where he died. On october 7, he finally died, he was 40 years old. Poe was never coherent enough to explain how he came to be in this condition.
